Lent and Bishops Peregrinations

Many thanks to all who were present for the Bishops Visit to our group when he stopped in Tralee on the 4th March

On arrival he viewed the vintage cars and tractors which were so generously transported by their owners to the Church in advance of his visit.

They can be so proud of their vehicles and the care which they take of them.

While in Tralee the Bishop did a short assembly with the school who also gathered with us for the occasion. He played the organ for the hymn (It sounded very well on Facebook) and he mingled with parishioners while trying out the various vehicles that were at the church.

Thank you also to those who have supported the Bishops Appeal.

Parishioners in Hospital

Due to privacy rules and GDPR it’s not possible to ask in hospitals anymore for a list of Cs of I patients. I am happy to visit any parishioner in any of the hospitals and care homes in the wider parish area. The provision of pastoral care to Church of Ireland patients in the hospitals such as UHK and the BONS is part of my role. I work closely with the full-time chaplains, but please let me know if you or a loved one would like a visit or indeed if anyone known to you would like a visit.

Feile Na Bealtaine.

This festival will take place in Dingle on the first weekend in May and St James will be delighted to be used again for concerts and events.

There will be a Bilingual service in St James at the earlier time of 11am on the 3rd May
